Aberdeen Jig Hook Physical Specifications
The Aberdeen Jig Hook features a long shank design and fine wire diameter, which can effectively improve hook sharpness and increase the hooking rate for light-biting fish species. However, due to the advantage of its long and thin shank structure, the strength of the Aberdeen Jig Hook is lower than other types of jig hooks. While maintaining the long shank design, we have optimized the manufacturing process to improve hook strength. We use 82B high carbon steel material with a slightly thickened wire diameter treatment, but this does not affect hook penetration, because this hook is equipped with an ultra-smooth coating and an ultra-sharp hook point.
