The Chinu Hook is made from imported Japanese high-carbon steel and formed using a cold-drawing process, ensuring the hardness of the raw material. The side forging process changes the original molecular density and enhances the strength of the hook body. The hook point undergoes secondary quenching and grinding, increasing hardness and sharpness by more than 80%.

The hook point adopts a triangular tooth design inspired by the sharp teeth of sharks. The hook point is flat and sharp, forming a triangular shape that increases the strength of the hook point by 3–4 times, effectively solving the problem of hook point rolling. When fighting powerful trophy fish, the triangular tooth design can easily penetrate their hard jawbones.

The hook body is plated with gold regardless of production cost, maximizing corrosion resistance and providing excellent protection against seawater corrosion. The outer layer is further protected with a secondary ultra-slick coating. While improving corrosion resistance, this coating also enhances penetration performance, allowing the hook to penetrate large fish easily with only slight force applied.
