Long shank treble hooks are suitable for fish species with larger mouths, and hook removal is much more convenient than short shank treble hooks, but because long shank treble hooks have a longer hook shank, their strength is also lower than other types of treble hooks with the same wire diameter. In order to improve the strength of long shank treble hooks, we adopt two forging processes, one standard forging process increases the strength by 15%, and another forging process adopts our V-shaped forging technology, which provides 8% higher strength improvement than the standard forging process, and we also reduce the hook gap width by 8%, these two methods neutralize and improve the strength of the long shank treble hooks.
